EST. 2016 (Freshman year of high school)
I’ve been filming since I discovered my dad's old VHS camcorder. Growing up in a small suburb with few friends who shared my interest in the arts, I filmed my animals, siblings, and toys. My dad taught me to use his camera, upload footage to our family computer, and edit on iMovie.
In high school, I created my first feature film with my iPhone and a zero dollar budget. It went on to earn local recognition and several festival awards. Since then, I’ve made it a point to write and direct at least one feature film each year. My work has been recognized with many accolades such as Best Indie Feature at the Cannes World Impact Film Festival and an Honorable Mention at the Student World Impact Film Festival for "Give Us Some Time to Get Used to Each Other." I also won Best in Cinematography at the ROMA Short Film Festival for "Ryan and Wayne" and the Joel Haver 2023 Oscar Challenge for "Franklin and Evan." Additionally, I have two feature films available on Amazon Prime.
I hold a BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design, with a major in Dramatic Writing and minors in Film and Business. Embracing the term "jack of all trades," I produce, write, direct, edit, color, and score films, using it as an opportunity to broaden my skills and deepen my craft. Film remains the driving force in my life, continuously inspiring me to create compelling and impactful stories.
Included in this reel are select shots from my projects, showcasing my diverse filmmaking style and creative vision. Featured works include Cardboard Island (work in progress), Happy People, Give Us Some Time to Get Used to Each Other, Ryan and Wayne, Greenhouse, Franklin and Evan, Pressing Buttons, and the BGW Training Video. Each piece reflects my commitment to storytelling and my passion for the craft.
